Happy New Year!
The New England Parkinson’s Ride went down in history in 2018 as the first and only independent Team Fox event to raise $1 million for research.
That was huge milestone and yet we were able to surpass those numbers in 2019, despite Hurricane Dorian, and again in the midst of a worldwide pandemic in 2020.
Then came 2021…with more difficulties and uncertainties, but that just made you dig deeper. You did whatever it took to find donors and supporters who believed in our cause and your commitment. You even held your own fundraisers; among them a bowl-a-thon, disco party, awesome raffles, and a fishing derby. You made and sold cookbooks and cutting boards and shared your unique ideas with others. And you rode (and volunteered) with us, in Old Orchard Beach and in your own hometown, with one shared goal!
Because of all of you, we are thrilled to announce that the
2021 New England Parkinson’s Ride raised an astounding
$1,635,168!
Thank you for being a part of our Ride Family
and for making 2021 a success like no other!
As a reminder, every dollar raised by our cyclists is donated to The Michael J. Fox Foundation and, because we are partnered with Team Fox, not a penny is taken from the Foundation for administrative costs. That means $1,635,168 will be funneled directly into research programs that will create a better life for those with PD and ultimately lead us to the cure!
ANOTHER HEARTFELT THANK YOU TO THE DEDICATED
SPONSORS WHO MADE IT ALL POSSIBLE!
DON’T FORGET TO THANK YOUR DONORS
Download your list and copy your personal page before January 7th!
With donations still trickling in, MJFF has allowed us to keep your fundraising links open through January 7th. After that time, you will no longer have access to your 2021 Fundraising Dashboard. Please go in now to download your list of donors, so that you can thank them for making 2021 such an incredible success. (It will also
come in handy when it’s time to approach them again for the 2022 Ride.)
Follow these simple instructions to download your report:
Log in to your fundraising dashboard by clicking the red FUNDRAISINGDASHBOARD button on the top right of any page on our website.
Under your name and photo (if you added one) click “Reports”.
This year’s donations will be listed first.
If you would also like a list of those who donated in prior years, scroll down until you see “Donations made toward your goal (2020, 2019)”, etc. Prior years are shown after the list of Team Donations.
To download the list(s) of your donors, simply right click on any donation from this year, click “Export” then select “CSV Export” from the drop down menu. This will create a download of the file. You can then “save as” and change the file type to an Excel spreadsheet if preferred. Should you need a list of prior year donors, simply repeat the process by right clicking on any donation from the earlier year.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you have “personalized your page” by adding your own story, please make a copy
of that as well, so that you can simply update and drop it into your page again next year. Though we have
asked that those pages be saved, the platform selected by MJFF has not been able to do that
consistently.
If you have any trouble, please contact our friends atteamfox@michaeljfox.org.
The final order of 2021 VIP jerseys, for those cyclists who qualified and placed their order by the November deadline, will be mailed out directly from BeSpokeKit over the next two weeks. Thank you for your patience with
supply and shipping delays! It is our sincere hope that you will wear them with pride and in good health as you represent all that the New England Parkinson’s Ride stands for
LIVE. RIDE. CURE.
AND NOW ON TO 2022!
**SAVE THE DATE**
The 15th Annual New England Parkinson’s Ride will be held, rain or shine, on

Whether you plan to ride with us in Old Orchard Beach or join us by Cycling In Sync from around the word, we
