VIP and PERSONALIZED BIB NUMBERS!

If you were one of the 150+ cyclists who raised a minimum of $1000 for the 2016 ride AND are registered for the 2017 ride by August 16th, your Bib Number will will include the special inscription of “ VIP” !

Please note, these bib numbers are based on fundraising from theprior year’s ride.

Thanks to the hundreds of cyclists and volunteers who took the time to answer our Survey Questions after last year’s ride, we worked extra hard throughout the year to make some improvements.

We think you will appreciate the following:

Chip technology to alleviate the need to remove bib numbers at the end of the ride! There will also be some ability for family and friends to track riders as they check in and out of certain major rest stops to get a better sense of when to expect them back at The Ballpark!

A slight re-route in the Kennebunkport area, necessary for two reasons. 1) Poorly behaved cyclists riding 3 & 4 abreast have compromised our town permit, requiring changes to the route. Thankfully we do not expect this to significantly impact our ocean views and are counting on ALL of you to follow the Rules of the Roadthis year! 2) Feedback from many of you that Route 9 should be eliminated where possible. Updated MapMyRide and directions are available on our website.
