For the first time in our 12-year history, we are forced to make the difficult decision to cap the number of cyclists we are able to support on the small town roads of Southern Maine.

It has been unbelievably humbling to see our Ride Family grow the way it has, particularly when we reflect on 2008 and the fact that only 35 cyclists believed in our mission to Live, Ride, Cure. Incredibly we now find ourselves with registrations up 70% over last year and the all-too-real possibility of having to turn cyclists away.

For the safety of all concerned, however, the 2019 New England Parkinson’s Ride must cap registrations at 1200 cyclists.
