NOW LET’S GET READY TO RIDE!
NEW THIS YEAR
CHIP TECHNOLOGY!

Every bib will be encoded with a disposable chip that records cyclists as they cross the start and finish lines. In addition, families & friends will be able to track their cyclist at different rest stops along the longer routes. You can see those rest stops here and can access the tracking technology by using this link, once they have crossed the starting line. We are not using this as a timing device but hope that it will make it easier to keep track of over 1000 cyclists and make it more enjoyable for those who are here to cheer you on!
IT IS  IMPERATIVE  THAT YOU CROSS EACH MAT ON THE WAY  IN  AND  OUT  OF THE DESIGN ATED REST STOPS.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
  • Please use this link to familiarize yourself with theballpark area.  (It may take a minute to download)
It will give you an idea of everything we have for you back at the ballpark! S howers, osteopathic manipulation, BBQ and a Beer/Wine/Soft drink for all cyclists and volunteers. There will also be a concession and beer stand, a band, bouncy houses for the kids and several exhibitors! Note: Beer stand is cash only  but an  ATM will be available.
  • For the safety of our cyclists, please follow the parking patterns and be kind to our parking and traffic volunteers. They are working hard to keep everyone safe. Note: You may leave your car overnight, if parking is a concern at your hotel.
  • VIP PACKET PICK-UP! Please note, VIP bibs are based on last year’s fundraising. Cyclists who raised $1000 in time to receive a 2016 VIP Jersey will receive a 2017 VIP bib. If you are eligible you will receive an email later tonight letting you know to proceed directly to the VIP line.
  • All other Packet Pick-up will be done inalpha order. If you and your family members have different last names, you may be in separate lines.
  • Please plan to arrive at least 45 minutes in advance of your selected ride. Ride times are posted on our home page.
  • Food/Drink tickets will be on your back bib. Make sure to remove them at the end of the ride as youmust have these tear-offs to receive your food and drink.
  • URGENT! Maps and cue sheets will NOT be handed out at the ride! Roads will be well marked but please consider downloading the mapmyride app or printing your own copy of the cue sheets, available here.
  • Lastly, please review the Rules of the Road before arriving  on Saturday.  This is critical for your own safety and the integrity of the Ride. With 1000+ cyclists this year, people will be watching. Please make us proud!
Marshals will be monitoring all routes.

IF YOU WANT TO FIND A CURE,

 PLEASE READ THIS!

As we all know, the cure will likely remain elusive without the help of our pharmaceutical, biotechnical, and neuroscience companies.

This year seven of them are joining us at the ride…many with teams and six with exhibitor booths! They may have trials going on or drugs in the pipeline to improve the lives of those living with PD. Some you will recognize because of the impact they have already had on your lives. Please stop by to let them know just how much what they are doing matters and thank them for supporting our ride.

And then stop by the booth hosted by The Michael J. Fox Foundation to learn more about all that Team Fox is doing and how you, whether you have PD or notcan help speed a cure by joining Fox Trial Finder. Just think about it, if a major breakthrough is 5 years away and we can double the number of people in a trial, we can cut that time in half!

And just for fun…

Be sure to stop by The Art Cart, Trionic Trekker, Rock Steady Boxing, and our 10th Anniversary Ride slide show presentation!

This is not just a ride, it’s an adventure!
Thanks for being on it with us!
